Well, I survived another Multicultural Night extravaganza! This year my Mom was able to come and see, along with my friends Anthony, Shaquanna, Dan, and Stasia!! (and Ernie of course!!)
I arranged my room a little different this year. My bulletin boards were organized by tribe region.
The Northeast: Haudenosaunee (Iroquois)
Northwest: Yurok, Haida, Kwakiutl (Tlingit)
California: Kumeyaay and Southwest: Hopi, Navajo
Southeast: Cherokee

This one we made by covering my wire racks with paper to display the student's technology projects on different aspects of the tribes we studied.

And our Tree of Respect. The students earn leaves for observable friendly and respectful behavior. We needed extra motivation to be nice, and worked it into our study of Native Americans!

I brought back the sun, river, and grass with a nice waterfall upgrade thanks to my super helpers!!
Last year a student let me borrow their tent tipi. This year, Ernie made me one!! My mom helped me get all the students to decorate it.
