Check that off our list

Yesterday was quite productive. We made our list, checked it twice, decided all our family was not naughty, but nice...then went out to hit up the mall. There was a lot of traffic and not many parking spots, so ernie had the great idea to park in the middle of all our stops and walk. So we walked across the street to make our first stops at Old Navy and Borders. Then back across the street to Target, and Bath & Body Works. Went to Tilly's to look for present ideas for my sisters, but ended up picking out something for myself. By this time we were both getting hungry from all our exciting shopping, so what better way to take a break then with delicious ice cream? We went over to Maggie moo's. I got dark chococalte with snow caps, ernie got udder cream (or something like that, basically a vanilla cream flavor) with kit kats. It was the perfect break. Then it was time to hit up Best Buy. I was expecting quite a crowd, but it wasn't too bad. We picked out our "dream" flat screens, browsed the cds and movies and left with some gift certificates. We finished just in time to make it to Saturday night church. We've been trying to go to church on Saturdays because it's a nice, small service, and it gives us Sunday mornings to wake up together and make breakfast. We went to the Rock store to get some more presents on our list, and were successful! After church we drove to Mira Mesa for dinner at Island's and a movie. We had lots of time before the movie started- we missed the 7 o'clock window, which means there were no more movies til after 9. So we went over to Ross to look for more present ideas, and unfortunately, again I only found something for myself. (good thing ernie needed some presents for me!) After Ross we still had a few minutes so we went over to Barnes & Noble to try and find a present for my grandma. Once again we had a successful shopping trip and checked everyone off our list, just have to make one more trip for my parents. By now it was time for our movie to start, but also as we walked outside realized it had started to rain. So we ran across the parking lot to the theater, only getting slightly wet. We went to see The Holiday- it was fantastic. At first I was hesitant because it was staring Jude Law, and I really don't like him, but he turned out to be a great character in the movie! So now on Sunday we are wrapping presents as we watch the Chargers game. GO CHARGERS!! It feels good to have all my shopping done, now just have to get ernie's presents!!!
